CVB Financial Corp. Appoints Senior Loan Officer

ONTARIO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 2006--Linn Wiley, president and chief executive officer of Citizens Business Bank (NASDAQ:CVBF), has announced the appointment of Edward J. Mylett Jr. to the position of executive vice president and senior loan officer of Citizens Business Bank. This includes responsibility for the Credit Management Division.

Mylett began his banking career with Shawmutt Bank of Boston in 1972 as a management trainee. He progressed to become a regional corporate lending officer responsible for seven offices in the city of Boston.

He joined Security Pacific National Bank in 1977 where he was vice president and a corporate banking team leader. Mylett was responsible for a $475 million business loan portfolio while assigned to this capacity.

Mylett later became the senior credit officer for four banks. He was senior vice president and chief credit officer for California Commerce Bank; executive vice president and senior loan officer for Commonwealth Bank; president, chief operating officer and senior credit officer for The Merchant Bank of California; and executive vice president, chief operating officer and senior credit officer for Western Security Bank.

He joined Citizens Business Bank with the acquisition of Western Security Bank in June of 2002. He was a major contributor to the successful integration of Western Security Bank into Citizens Business Bank. He was appointed regional manager of the San Gabriel Valley Region in 2003. The Region has shown significant growth and increases in profitability under his leadership.

Mylett received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston. He is married to Debbi and they have four children.
